The history: The The Bella Workshop series is designed to inspire photographers looking to improve their skills and find new ways to express the art of photography. The team behind this photo workshop wanted to create a quirky, romantic, sexy and playful look. The key elements were the couture dresses and shoes, the stunning flower installation, and the lively location.
The site: Transylvania is a historical region in southern Romania. Often associated with Vampire folkloreTransylvania is Latin for “land beyond the forest” and is a region rich in mountains, undisturbed forests and medieval villages. This shoot took place in Cluj-Napoca, the former capital of Transylvania.
The atmosphere: Lively for discerning and modern couples who combine the history of the venue with a bright and bold look. This shoot combines the classic and the contemporary with an allusion to the colorful flower crowns Frida Kahlo.
The details: The color palette was based on golds and browns with bright colors like bold pinks, rusty oranges and energetic yellows. These colors were inspired by the interior of the location. The beautiful floral pattern was created by Las Floristas with splashes of color that matched the eye-catching cake. Dresses and accessories adorned with pearls and feathers were used to add some glamor.
- Before your shoot, create a mood board so that your creative team members understand your vision and the mood you are trying to create.
- Choose your providers carefully and make sure they are all on the same page when it comes to the look you want.
- Remember to take a step back during the shoot to make sure all the elements come together. A few minutes of rest and reflection can make all the difference.
